I would just like to provide some feedback on repairs to my home through your company. Everyone was extremely professional, organised and helpful. PH our case manager, was very supportive in getting tradesmen to fix problems. He regularly checked in to see if the work was being organised and done to my satisfaction. He was very assertive with the tradesmen, when I felt intimidated when trying to discuss issues I had with repairs. So please pass on my thanks to him.

I am a police officer and like your staff, we deal with various people every day and it would be very easy to get angry and frustrated with the varying levels of angst YASI & the floods have caused, and I think it’s nice to give credit where it’s due. Recently I sustained some building & content damage from Yasi. I wanted to offer some feedback on how I have found the claim process; which thankfully, has been stress free at this time. I have never made any insurance claims in my life so it’s all new to me.
I cannot recall the first person I spoke to when I reported my damage but she was very helpful, professional and took all details. Then, soon after the same day, I received a text message from Siemsen Group, Townsville to make an appointment for a visit to assess the building damage. Unfortunately I missed that appointment and then made another where a Simsen Group member came out took photos, assessed damage and provided advice as he went. Nothing was too much trouble and I found him to be very friendly, professional, efficient, polite, and empathetic. He is extremely good at what he does and is an asset to not only Siemsen Group but QBE as well.
A day later the Siemsen Group member arranged for a plumber, to attend my home and repair my hot water system which was not working after YASI. Again he was very professional, efficient, polite and helpful with his advice. More recently I called QBE to make enquiries regarding a contents claim and the girl I spoke to was also extremely helpful, professional, polite, patient, empathetic, and her phone manner made me feel completely at ease. Her advice was easy to follow and logical. She is also a valuable asset and a credit to your company and I’d love to have people like her in the Police service.
I thank these persons for their efforts and I continue to recommend QBE to those I hear are not happy with their situation with other insurance providers. In my opinion, the claim process to this date has been very easy to follow and seamless in each step.

I would like to thank the Siemsen Group for the professional service provided following the hail storm in the southern part of Canberra on 5 January 2011.The hail storm damaged the laserlite roofing of our pergola which meant it needed to be totally replaced. Mick assessed the damage on 22 January 2011, he was very efficient and had a very friendly manner. Mick was very thorough in his inspection, checking the tiles on our roof as well as our skylight for any additional damage. Ray from the roofing company, measured the pergola on 17 March 2011, again he had a friendly but professional manner. Ray also kept us informed about the expected date of delivery of the laserlite sheeting and when the work would be undertaken.
The new roofing to our pergola was completed on 6 April 2011 by Ray. He also rang us the following day to ensure we were satisfied with the job. I confirmed that we were very happy with the finished product, that the pergola roofing looked wonderful and the back yard was left neat and tidy with no evidence of the repair work that had taken place. We would like to thank all the people involved and confirm that we are 100% happy with the service provided, the timely completion of the replacement roofing of our pergola and the quality of the finished product.

I have known PH through the Siemsen Group as he had taken great interest in assessing and carrying out work on my property. PH has conducted himself in a very professional manner and has gone well and beyond my expectations. I have liaisoned with PH on numerous occasions in order to complete the job. He also came out on several occasions to check that each job was done properly and at some incident where he was not satisfied with the work, he would arrange the work to be redone properly. PH had at all times kept the lines of communications open and had always kept us up to date with whatever was to happen.

We were very happy with everyone we dealt with at your company, from the first gentleman who assessed everything and ascertained what needed replacing. From the contractors who replaced the roof tiles, to the contractors who replaced the whirly bird, kitchen ceiling and the subsequent painting etc was all top notch. Everyone was professional and courteous, gave me advance warning as to when they were coming and everything was done that needed to be, in a timely manner.
I would have no hesitation in recommending your company, however, hope we don’t have to go through another storm damage to do so! Hope you have a good weekend

Dear Steve, I would like to express my gratitude, I have recently received some work carried from Siemsen Group. Because of the rain damage, I must say they did very good job the gentleman whom did the job was excellent fast and completed all in the same day with an optimum result I am thanking you for the way you have guided it all.
My sincere thanks to all those involved in Siemsen Group including the office girls who have been very polite in to answering the phone and communicate very efficiently to make the necessary arrangement for the work to be done. Thank you again.

I can report to you that the repair work carried out to my home under the supervision of Siemsen Group is first class. Obviously Siemsen Group seek out trades people who have a proven record in their particular field...
Further, the pleasant and courteous manner that they extend is most welcome, when standards everywhere else today have fallen to an all time low.

Dear Michael,
We had a major fire in our Kitchen about a month ago and I wanted to say that your organisation has been fantastic at all levels concerning all aspects associated with the claim. Specifically on the night of the fire I lodged our claim over the phone -service very helpful and efficient.
The next day the NRMA assessor Paul changed his appointments around to be on site. He has been very professional and helpful throughout the period. The Siemsen Group attended to a number of matters and all members of their team from assessors to cleaners were responsive, friendly and efficient and helpful. We negotiated an outcome that enabled us to use our own builder and trades as the house had only been renovated 5 years ago and there was a level of knowledge that assisted in a quick turnaround.
I don’t normally write letters like this but this is a good news story and you should know. Thank all concerned - NRMA delivered what I expected and more in helping us through this.

I would like to provide some positive feedback on the works carried out at our house.
I inspected the property on Friday morning and in attendance was the painter (Dino), who advised what he had done. The quality of the work undertaken by all the tradespeople (carpenter, cleaner, painter etc) was of the highest standard. What remains to be undertaken is the replacement of the vertical blinds, which will be completed sometime this week. I also thank Malcolm for his friendly and courteous manner in coordinating the works, particularly arranging a replacement painter at short notice.
Could you please pass on my feedback to all the tradespeople for their efforts and high standard and quality of work.

I would just like to let you know that I was very pleased with the repairs to my house provided by B and B. The tradesmen that were sent to my house were professional and efficient and we are very pleased with the finished job. My husband and I were very pleased with how flexible the guys were with time and they were very accommodating. I would just like to email you to say a special thank you to one of your representives, Wayne.
On 31st July, Sydney had a severe storm. I had damage to my above ground pool by a large branch of a gum tree that is in my neighbours yard. The branch was large enough to cause one of the rims to bend and push the pool in around the edge. I contacted NRMA and they told me I would hear from someone at the Siemsen Group.
Not long after, Wayne contacted me and made a time to come to my home to assess the damage. He then told me he would contact the pool company to have them come out to see what could be done. Unfortunately, after many calls from Wayne they didn’t turn up. That didn’t stop him trying though.
In the end the Claim did not go through but I just want to let you know how grateful I was to have Wayne to communicate with. Never at any stage was I concerned about contacting him, he was always very helpful and polite at all times. If he said he would contact me at a certain time, he always did.
In this day and age it is nice to be able to actually talk to a person instead of talking to a machine.
So a hugh thank you to Wayne and also to the Siemsen Group.

It is a bit of an exaggeration to say that, on 22nd March, my house was destroyed in the storm, but it certainly felt like it. The work which your company has been engaged to perform has now been completed
Your staff and contractors have been magnificent. They have cleared up their rubbish and surplus materials every night and the house is now respectible, clean and back to normal. The new floor which has been put in is spectacular. I would like to thank you for all the hard work which your team has carried out. It has been very much appreciated

Just to let you know that the boys completed the job on Friday as planned.
They were great. Turned up bang on time, did a brilliant job for us and were really professional in the way they conducted themselves. Nothing seemed to be a problem to them and I would fully recommend that you use them again. I completed the feedback form they gave me and the comments in that reflect what I have said here.
Not sure why it was such an issue for Lee because these guys thought it was a straight forward job. Anyway all done now and many thanks for you help with this.

Dealing with tradesmen can be difficult, but you stayed on top of everything that was happening, and communicated the process well to me. Your consideration and compassion has been priceless. You returned calls and emails promptly when necessary, which helped so much when there was a lot going on.
I feel the need to highlight your consistent punctuality. So many people either don’t have that ability, or don’t value its importance. Being reliable and on time made my daily routine so much easier – don’t underestimate just how grateful I am for this. Thank you for your continued hard work as we touch up the final details. I recently had a lot of repairs done to my home as a result of water damage. I wanted to write and advise you that I was extremely pleased with the service, advice and work provided by all tradesmen involved.
The builder (Bruce), tiler (Craig), painters and electrician all arranged to conduct the necessary work at times convenient for me, including weekends and after hours. All workmen that attended the premises were polite, friendly and cleaned up any mess made. They were all careful to cover furniture and sweep up any dust etc. made during their works. I did not expect them to do this, but was very grateful for their consideration. All workmen explained issues arising and discussed options available and provided helpful advice – especially Craig, when it became apparent that a drain pipe was uncovered underneath the tiles.
The workmen acted with extreme professionalism and their willingness to be accommodating was much appreciated. The work was conducted in a timely manner and all work completed is of an extremely high standard. I am very happy with the final outcome - please pass on my thanks.
